Extremely ethereal (the album is called "Feather River) American folk LP with a focus on rather uncommon instruments, like mandolin and mandocello. A breath of fresh air, the silence between notes brilliantly captured in a probably very well-equipped studio. It includes some more new age / fusion songs like "Dark Dreams", evoking early Return To Forever. I definitely have a thing for these late 1980's acoustic fantasies. Light as a feather, indeed. (M/M)
