Steve Tibbetts breakthrough album, self-released but eventually reissued by ECM 8 years later. A beautiful mix of acoustic guitar-led ballads and Tibbetts one-of-a-kind esoteric mix of prog-rock, jazz fusion western tropes and vaguely oriental elements. Definitely offering a new sound, brilliantly opening a new decade in jazz, the slick 1980's, as heralded by the likes of Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays. A lot of beautiful tunes.
