Squarepusher - Port Rhombus

Squarepusher’s first release on Warp, eventually initiating a fruitful collaboration with the Sheffield label. He delivers a very personal, lyrical take on jungle-tainted IDM, that foreshadows Beep Street or Feed Me Weird Things, especially on the highly romantic title-track, rhythmically complexe and dense, but melodically enveloping and crepuscular. Super elegant stuff, and, needless to say, cutting-edge. (VG+/VG+).
