Scott Walker - Scott 4

One of the finest piece of American psychedelic pop from the 1960's - good luck disagreeing with this. Otherworldly orchestrations by Scott, starting with his phenomenal narration of Ingmar Bergman's Seventh Seal that opens the album. From that, it's just pure baroque beauty: ridiculously grandiose ballads ("On Your Own", "The World's Strongest Man", "Angel's of Ashes") and acid countercultural commentaries ("Hero Of The War")  . Listening to this by my own at the office, and seriously living it. Great original Japanese copy (VG+/VG+ - superficial mark on side B that doesn't affect the play)
