Baroque / Renaissance / Lute Music

Lute music, played by the German lutenist Konrad Junghänel, a specialist of the historically informed performance (an approach to the performance of classical music, that aims to be faithful with the playing of the musical era in which a piece was composed). He plays 17th Century lute music written by Austro-Bohemian lutenist Jacob Bittner. We don't know much about him, but according to Ernest Gottlieb Baron, 18th Century lutenist and who wrote a huge amount of written works on lute music, Bittner's lute music was composed "to the latest and most galant method of playing the lute at that time.". (VG+/VG+)
