Hiroshi Yoshimura - A・I・R (Air In Resort)

The ultimate Japanese environmental music LP, released as some piece of brand content by cosmetics giant Shiseido. A lot has been written about Hiroshi Yoshimura's transparent ambient music, but it's probably worth adding that the reissue craze surrounding the work of the discreet composer seems to me entirely justified. A I R, like most of his releases, is a record of exceptional grace, that will probably never be reissued (courtesy of Shiseido) - but still very affordable (the price of a deluxe reissue of his following albums). A tranquil and essential masterpiece. (VG+/VG - plastic cased is cracking and yellowed)
