Sun Ra has been a source of inspiration for countless musicians of the 20th and 21st centuries. This is of course the case of Thurston Moore, who released this 1995 album of bare, spaced-out covers of Sun Ra on his Ecstatic Peace! label. One of the few 1990’s experimental LP’s whose artwork pays tribute to BYG's Actuel series I’ve encountered lately. Check the versions of "We Travel The Spaceways". (VG+/VG+)
