Records of flute-led and dance musics by the Bassari people, a small group of 12'000 people divided between Senegal and Guinea. Recorded between 1961 and 1963, and in 1967 in Eastern Senegal. Their music have the particularity of suing a lot of "accessory instruments" : pellet bells, rattles, jingles... Excellent record. (VG+/VG+)
