Self-released LP by German rocker, Alexander Wiska, backed by the laidback drumming of Jaki Liebezeit. A generally easy, minimal - "cool in the pool" vibe, not dissimilar to that of Holger Czukay's record of the same name or the lo-fi electronic blues jams by Dutch musician Spike. Check the nagging groove of "Red Dress", a kind of outsider take on the sound of Mk Gee or - less anachronistic - The Police. (VG+/VG+)
